Emergency Medical Fund
Many of the unwanted animals who arrive at our shelter have been injured, neglected, or abused. All adoptable cats and dogs are given their necessary vaccinations and are then altered. But many have non-routine medical issues that need to be addressed such as hernias, cherry eye, broken bones, tumor removals, and heartworm treatment.
Our “Give-a-Dog-a-Bone” Medical Fund helps defray the cost of non-routine medical expenses. Our Medical Fund has helped countless animals become healthy and adoptable, giving them a second chance at life and love. Thank you for helping us to save lives and improve the quality of life for animals that otherwise may have no hope.
If you can help, please make a donation through our PayPal and Credit Card link below or, if you would rather, a check made out to Animal Welfare League and reference “Medical Fund”. You can reference a specific animal or “where needed most”. Animal Welfare League, 3519 Drance St, Port Charlotte, FL 33980.
No donation is too small to make a difference for these deserving pets!
Thank you for your help!
