We are a non-profit organization and rely on your support. In order for us to feed and care for our animals and pay employees, utilities, and vet bills, we need over $1 million yearly. Donations can be made in memory or in honor of a pet or person.

Monetary Donations

Bequests
Your love for animals can live on through a bequest to the Animal Welfare League in your will or trust. Your gift will ensure our ability to continue to care for homeless, abused and neglected pets in years to come. A gift annuity takes advantage of favorable tax treatment that is available only to charitable organizations and their donors. Ask your financial advisor about investing in a gift annuity that will benefit the animals.

Non-Monetary Donations
Donations of the following items, will save AWL from having to purchase them. Items can be brought to the shelter at 3519 Drance St. Port Charlotte, FL during regular business hours.
